Delicious raw mango recipe, onion gives crunch & a little sweetness too. Onion &Mango both are summer coolants. Red onions, which are the most commonly available variety in India, have a compound called quercetin, which acts against histamine. It helps you stay away from many infections and diseases. They are loaded with nutrients which keep you away from illness, and also benefit your skin. We can use onion as a salad, as it improves the digestive system. Mangoes are rich in potassium, vitamin A and vitamin C & antioxidants. Nature has fortified raw mango with a number of vitamins and minerals, which make it an effective antidote for a lot of summer ailments.

 

Ingredients:

Onion (med) – 1 finely chopped

Raw Mango – 2 Slices finely chopped

Boiled Corn – 1 katori

Boiled Beans – 1 katori

Capsicum – 1 finely chopped

Tomato – 1 finely chopped

Chaat masala – 1 tsp

Salt to taste

 

Method:

  1. Mix the veggies (onion, capsicum, raw mango, boiled beans & boiled corn) together is a bowl.
  2. Add the seasoning & mix well.
  3. Ready to be served as salad or as an accompaniment for any breakfast or snack item.
