Everyone is fond of desserts and, when it comes to it, chocolate loaded recipes, pudding, and cakes is what we tend to indulge, be it, kids or adults. Desserts are extremely hard to resist.
Chocolate brownies are one of those desserts loved by all but, they also come along with unwanted calories from added sugars, refined flour and fat. This healthy dessert bite is made from almonds, walnuts and chia seeds which are highly nutritious. They are loaded with antioxidants, essential fatty acids, proteins and fibre that provide numerous health benefits.
Dates are naturally sweet, high in fibre and antioxidants.
These dessert bites are delicious and at the same time nutritious and can be consumed guilt-free but in controlled portions.
Ingredients:
Almonds – ½ Cup
Walnut – ½ Cup
Cocoa Powder – 2 Tbsp
Chia Seeds – 1 Tbsp
Dates – 1 Cup
Method:
- Use a blender to blend almonds, walnuts, chia seed and cocoa powder into fine powdered mixture.
- Remove seeds from the dates and blend them together with the nut powder until smooth in texture.
- Spread the mixture on the butter paper evenly and allow it to set for a while.
- Cut it into equal pieces.
- Garnish with some almonds and walnuts and serve.
Note: You can also roll it into small sized ball like a laddoo.
